Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 31 March 2025

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how our apps, handles data when you use it. It describes our practices regarding third-party ad services (such as Google AdMob) and our compliance with global privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), U.S. state privacy laws (such as CCPA, CPA, etc.), and Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

This policy applies to all users, including those in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), Switzerland, and the United States.

1. Information We Collect

Our Apps designed so that we do not directly collect any personally identifiable information (PII). Specifically, we do not ask for or store:

  • Your name, address, email, or phone number
  • Precise location or device identifiers
  • Any other information that could be used to personally identify you

Automatically Collected Data by Third Parties

When you use the app, some non-personal data may be automatically collected by third-party services such as Google AdMob for advertising purposes. This includes:

  • Device Information: Your device's IP address (used only to determine a general region for ad serving), device type, operating system details, and screen size.
  • Ad Interaction Data: Data on ad impressions, clicks, and engagement, used solely for contextual ad serving.

This automatically collected data is not linked to your identity and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

2. Use of Google AdMob Advertisements

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements that support the development and maintenance of our Apps. Our AdMob settings ensure that:

  • Ad content is limited to a maximum rating suitable for our audience, as configured in our AdMob dashboard. We may adjust these settings to optimize ad performance while keeping content appropriate.
  • Personalized ads may be shown to users in regions where GDPR consent is obtained.
  • If a user opts out or if the user is determined to be a child, only non-personalized, contextual ads will be shown.

We have implemented an app-ads.txt file on our official website (or designated hosting solution) to declare authorized ad networks, ensuring proper ad revenue attribution and preventing unauthorized inventory sales.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our apps are designed for a general audience and are not specifically directed to children under the age of 13. To comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations:

  • We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 13.
  • Ads in our apps are provided by Google AdMob, and the apps are not child-directed. AdMob may use general signals to serve appropriate content based on user age and region.
  • Parents who wish to restrict ad exposure may do so by disabling internet access or using airplane mode while the app is in use.

If you believe a child's data has been inadvertently collected by any third-party service, please contact us immediately at niko_yry@yahoo.com, and we will promptly address the issue.

4. Compliance with GDPR and U.S. State Privacy Laws

GDPR (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

  • Since our Apps do not directly collect personal data, explicit user consent for data collection is not required.
  • However, we use Google's User Messaging Platform to obtain and manage consent for personalized advertising in GDPR regions.
  • Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland can manage their ad settings via Google's Consent Management tools.

U.S. State Privacy Laws (e.g., CCPA, CPA)

  • As we do not collect personal data, our app is minimally affected by U.S. state privacy laws.
  • We ensure that users in regulated U.S. states can opt out of personalized ads via Google's privacy settings.

5. Transparency and User Control

  • Ad Preferences: You can manage your ad experience by visiting Google Ad Settings.
  • Opt-Out Options: You can opt out of interest-based ads in your device settings (e.g., iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking).

We use Google AdMob's Privacy & Messaging tools to inform users about data usage in ad serving.

6. Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) & IDFA Explainer

In compliance with Apple's guidelines:

  • Tracking Permission: Our app may request permission for tracking using the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) through Apple's ATT prompt.
  • If you allow tracking: Your IDFA is used by Google AdMob to serve personalized ads, which may result in more relevant ads and higher revenue.
  • If you decline tracking: Only non-personalized, contextual ads will be served.
  • No Additional Personal Data Collection: We do not collect any other personal information beyond what is handled by Google AdMob.

For more details on Apple's ATT framework, please see Apple's ATT guidelines.
